Thoughts: 烏蘇啤酒 Wusu beer comes from 新疆維吾爾族地區 Xinjiang Uyghur region in the 中國西北部 Northwestern part of China and is brewed with refined malt, fresh rice, and pure underground water. Both the 烏蘇啤酒 Wusu Beer & 青島啤酒 Tsingtao are 330ml cans selling at SGD$4 (rm$8.25) which is generally the same price of a Can of Beer in KL (both Malaysia and Singapore being countries with heavy Taxes on Alcohol). 

Beer in China has become increasingly popular in the last century, both local and imported brands. Most Chinese beers are pale lagers, such as 青島啤酒 Tsingtao beer. BUT Archaeological findings showing that Chinese villagers were brewing beer-type alcoholic drinks as far back as 7000 BC on small and individual scales. Made with rice, honey, grape, and hawthorn fruits, this early beer seems to have been produced similarly to that of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. However, modern beer brewing was not introduced into China until the end of 19th century, when 波蘭人 Polish people established a brewery in 哈爾濱 Harbin, later other European brewers from 德國人 Germans, and 捷克斯洛伐克人 Czechoslovaks also introduced their beer to China respectively.
