Thoughts: Singapore's 凱聯大廈 International Plaza is a 50-storey mixed office cum residential complex situated in Singapore’s CBD. The construction was part of a grand redevelopment plan for the central area of Singapore, which started as early as 1966 and was completed in 1976. Its 50-storey silhouette is one of the most impressive landmarks of the city. It was one of the first buildings to integrate various operations into one space, therefore paving the road for a city of greater flexibility and autonomy, where people don’t have to drive long distances in order to find shops, gyms or entertainment areas.

At Level 1 after the entrance is the food court (maybe should call it a food hall) with a variety of hawker food choices. Lunch time is super crowded especially some popular shops, but most of the shops have limited seats for dine-in. AND you can immediately recognize popular hawker stalls as they are usually a queue.
Today's lunch is a SGD$6 Chinese mixed rice with a piece of Sardin (likely from a can), some red beas, and some siew yoke (roasted pork) that is more than rm$20 (more than double the price of a similar plate in KL)!
