Thoughts: The Mamak Restaurant, offering from besides Indian Roti and Goreng-goreng; the popular choice for lunch and dinner are likely their Nasi Kandar, Nasi Briyani, also... Nasi ayam, Soup Kambing, Fried noodles (even Cantonese fried and Hokkien mee) and Tom Yam, night time should have Tandoori & Naan, plus Satay. Restoran Al Sarifa used to be 24 hours operation but the RMCO period is now operating from 7am-10pm.
The Mamak also offers an above average 印度奶茶 Teh Tarik, at a reasonable price of rm$1.50. However, my plate of Nasi Briyani comes with an egg, a generous amount of Mutton, plus a squid and papadam; amounting to rm$20.30! One can also ask for an extra plate of spicy sambal to go with the rice; I'd say the sambal with dhal will definitely go well for Roti Canai.
Parking here until DBKL is rm$1 per hour, and can be quite challenging throughout the day. The Mamak restaurant also offers Chinese noodles including Cantonese fried and Hokkien Mee (Fat black noodle); which should be an interesting choice worth sampling from a Mamak restaurant. The night time only available Tandoori, Naan and Satay were also popular dinner choices.
