Thoughts: Taman Puchong Perdana is a small and basically residential area of Puchong with mostly linked houses and some medium to low costs apartments, and maybe more of mixed community of Malay and Indian with a smaller Chinese population in this part of Puchong. There is only one concentrated area of single storey and two storey shop lots here which is where the Purchong Perdana LRT stops; found at least 3 chinese kopitiam here. That includes the much raved Steamed chichen rice and Wanton Mee stalls offered at Restoran Sin Loong; was here to sample that Kopitiam's Wanton Mee but nothing was ready at 8am this morning! Found another Wanton Mee stall elsewhere, albeit quite average plate of WTM but yet still the most popular and busiest hawker stall in 212美食中心 Restoran Two One Two. This kopitiam, 4 stalls seen opened today: offering 怡保炒粿条 Ipoh Char Koay Teow, 蝦麵 Prawn Mee, 雲吞麵 Wanton Mee, 魚片米粉湯 Fish Fillet noodle. Other stalls not in business today morning were 雜飯 Chinese mixed rice, 豬肉粉 Pork noodle, 板麵 Pan Mee, Roasted, and 小炒 Xiao Chao. Opposite 212 Kopitiam is another Chinese Kopitiam 帝嘉茶餐室 Restoran Tay Kah. 212 Kopitiam's Ipoh Char Koay Teow also seemed popular this morning, busy frying take-aways'. There is also a 油炸鬼 Char Koay truck just outside the kopitiam. Interesting to find the Hilton Garden Inn in this part of Puchong at Desa Mellenia (next to Taman Puchong Perdana). Parking here is easy today at 8am. Today's breakfast, the Wanton Mee here was average but the TehC was not bad.
