Thoughts: 来！来！来！It is happy hour all-day long; rm$7 for Tiger and rm$10 for Guinness!" 多間吃擋 Many Woks Street Food Bar" taking up 2 shop-lots in USJ 10 (next to AmBank and opposite Jin Xuang Dim Sum!). A Welcome addition to another Watering Hole in Taipan (besides the Brew House, Uncle Don and Big Daddy's). The Pub suffered during the months of Covid-19 Locked-down since March and only opened back recently. Driving along USJ 10/1, you can't miss the welcoming "Peng Leng Ceng" Red Neon lights.
The new Pub opens as early as 11am, offering a variety from Malaysian Laksa, to Western Jawa Grill of Beef, Squid, Chicken or Pork plus Ikan Bakar! Also Thai dishes and 小炒 Xiao Chao; not forgetting Satay (including Pork Satay). And of course, by far the cheapest beer in Taipan!
The rm$12.90 福建麵 Hokkien Mee, although not Charcoal fried; definitely fried with good "Wok Hei", not overly "Dark" (closer to Penang style Hokkien) Mee; comes with generous amount of crunchy pork lard, few pieces of prawns, pork slices, and squid, not overly salty, above average; but just the sambal could be better!
多間食店 Many Woks Street Food Bar, a very comfortable neighborhood bar; excellent service crew of local and Filipinos. Fully observing social distancing SOP, and not too "noisy"; and lots of "Chinese themes" decorating on every available wall in the shop. First sampling of the food here ends with a positive experience, will be back for more!
