Kelapa Oasis Subang in USJ4 is new in town, with "椰奶 Santan (Coconut)" being their signature offering. Unlike the other commercially available Santan which has a short expiration date; according to the owner, Kelapa Oasis's Santan has a longer expiration date due to the manufacturing method of extracting the coconut shavings which results in less contamination and therefore can last longer.
Also available are 椰子醬 Kerisik (Coconut Paste), 椰子果凍 Coconut Jelly, 煎蕊 Cendol, 年輕椰子 Kelapa Muda, 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 囉吔 Rojak, and some 糕 kueh.
Another signature here is the 年輕椰子 Kelapa Muda Matag offering 3 for rm$10. MATAG Coconut (Cocos nucifera 'Matag') is a coconut cultivar recommended for cultivation in Malaysia by the Department of Agriculture Malaysia. The Coconut is from the family Arecaceae or family Palmae is a multi-purpose plant from the trunk, leaves, and fruit, coconut water, shell and it's inner contents, especially in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.
The Vegetarian rm$6.50 囉吔 Rojak wasn't too impressive. However, the rm$3 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak is typical Packet of Nasi Lemak with boiled egg, nuts cucumber, anchovies, and long grain fragrant rice, along with not too spicy sambal; coupled with the rm$4 coconut water, satisfactory and filling for a lunch meal.
