"源記雲吞麵 Yuan Gei Wanton Mee" has been in Weng Soon for quite some time now, offering Wanton Mee with 叉燒 Charsiew, 雞腳 Chicken Feet, 水餃 Sui Gao, 炸肉碎丸 Miced Meat Balls, and 咖哩雞 Curry Chicken from rm$6.50 onwards.
Today's 雞腳 Chicken Feet was well braised, not skinny feet, very juicy tender and no foul smells. 源記雲吞麵 Yuan Gei Wanton Mee's specialty are also its Sabah style 蒸水餃 Sui Gao (Steamed Dumplings) with 皮蛋 thousand year old egg as part of its fillings at rm$1.50/pcs; definitely unique and likable. Another item at rm$0.80/pcs is the 炸肉碎丸 Miced Pork Meat Ball, a little dry but not too bad.
源記雲吞麵 Yuan Gei Wanton Mee is available everyday except Wednesdays. Weeks approaching Chinese New Year, the stall also offers 满香肉干行 Moon Heong Dry Meat's "肉干 Bakkwa" price of rm$46 and rm$47 for 500g of either Pork or Chicken dry meat. (current offer buy 3 with total rm$15 discount). FYI, there is also a 满香肉干行 Moon Heong Dry Meat stall at SS14's 王信記茶餐室 Restoran Weng Soon Kee (opened on January 22 just a few days ago).
