Thoughts: The Cafe opened in July 13 (only about 2.5 months), which is a month after RMCO! It is the creation by Joey Mah and three-time Malaysian Barista Champion Keith Koay (2016, 2018, 2020). Mr Joey Mah is also the man behind "Three Little Birds Coffee" (Sentul KL) and "Artisan Roastery" (also in Sentul KL). The Cafe, "Dou Dou Bake", located in a corner shop lot in PJ SS4's Taman Rasa Sayang, one can hardly notice the Cafe's sign board (which is a playful scribble of the word "Dou Dou"). The Cafe is just opposite the Mulit-Million Dollar SS3 Bungalows.

The entrance to the Designer Cafe is unlike any others, designed by Sputnik Forecast Labs with an interesting Plantscaping effort. The interior has a "Raw" feel with almost everything "silverish" concrete color except for the wooden tables and chairs. Nothing is flashy about its design, just "Raw" Interior and the "Natural" Outdoors. However, do prepare for a 30-45 minutes waiting time; I arrived today about 10 minutes before it's opening at 7:30am, there was already a Queue! And by 8am, the Cafe was already full-house with more customers in the queue to get in. Come in early or if you are lucky, you may get a window seat overlooking its exterior landscape!
The bakes aren't necessary cheap here, the price begins at rm$9 for the Butter Sourdough Croissant; but I am having the "小香肠牛角包 Chipolata Sausage Croissant" at rm$14 which is a flaky croissant sandwich with a small sausage topped with some "flaky white stuff (a little bit like Bonito flakes)" and I think 瓜子 Lemon seeds. The rm$16 "大蘑菇丹麥麵包 Portobello Mushroom Danish" comes with a giant mushroom on a Danish bread! Though simple, but both are likable and satisfying; and finally a good ending with a not a disappointing Latte!
