Thoughts: I am sure the Daging Salai here must be good, its the signature dish as well as name of the Restoran; but the fragrant Nasi Lemak Kukus (steaming hot), which I opted for some spicy sotong, pekedil and a boiled egg, for rm$5; deliciously good and satisfying. 

No menu here, but customers are welcomed with a galore of Malay cuisines at its entrance; from Laksa, Mee Rebus, Soto, Bubur Nasi, Lontong, to Behoon/Nasi/Mee Goreng, Nasi Lemak, Malay Kueh and perhaps many more as the kitchen is still preparing variety of breakfast dishes at 7am. Other than Restoran Cengkih located at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 4, Restoran Daging Salai is definitely another good spot for some traditional Malay street foods breakfast.
