Thoughts: The monthly rental for the corner shop lot here at USJ21 is rm$11,000, the Malay restaurant "my Corner" no longer able to sustain the super expensive overheads and finally gave up last month. The story seems to be that the "Greedy" land lord does not want to give up to the plea for lower rental during this hard times of Covid-19.
The Nasi Lemak guy used to rent a small space from "my Corner", now also thinking of taking over the place and maybe will call it Khairy-s Nasi Lemak or Khairy's Cafe! But I think maybe he should stick to his Nasi Lemak stall (still there outside the vacated shop lot) where he opens open for a few hours. The sweet and spicy sambal is Khairy's creation, and definitely goes well with the coconut rice! Definitely worth a try!
