Thoughts: There used to be a Tang Pin in USJ 9, which folded some time ago maybe early of 2018! But there is one (which seems of offer very similar menu items) in SS2, occupying a corner shop lot visible from the trunk road of SS2/24 (I think across the main road is Petron gas station). MBPJ Parking is easy before 9am, perhaps challenging after that.
Tang Pin offers "Mee Pok" and "Hai Lam Char" as its No#1 and No#2 which are both my choice of breakfast today. "Mee Pok" can be recognized as a yellow flat noodle, of "Teow Chew" origin and popular in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore. Seems that it is usually served as dry version with the flat noodle tossed in sauce (clear type) and served with fish balls or mushroom minced pork meats. Tang Pins "Mee Pok" variant comes with minced pork, pork lard as well as their signature fish cake slices. The breakfast ends with a satisfied glass of Hoilam Char.
Tang Pin Kitchen also offers "炒鱼面猪肠粉 fried fish noodle cheong fun" (somwthing worth trying), especially with their sambal sauce; a variety of fish ball or fish cake based noodles (dry and soup), and even "炒粥 fried porridge" as well as a variety of snacks and chinese desserts.
The first day to PJ since MCO locked down began on March 18 (after more than 3.5 months!) with a positive breakfast experience!
