Thoughts: The Cempaka wet market (most if not all wet markets) do not open on Mondays! Therefore Mondays offers less challenging parking for people who come to kopitiams surrounding the wet market for breakfast. There are probably around 5-6 kopitiams for hawker style food here.
百家香茶餐室 Bai Jia Xiang Kopitiam offers both chinese style hawkers food and under the same roof; there is also an Indian stall offering drinks and Indian roti. 6 stalls inside the Kopitiam offering 猪肉粉 pork noodle, 苦瓜粉 bitter gourd noodle, 炒粉 fired noodle, 炒粿條 char koay teow, 炒饭 fried rice, 酿豆腐粉面 yong tao foo noodles, 云吞面 wanton mee, 咖喱面 curry mee, and 烧蜡 roasted. Most are already available for 7am onwards!
The "雞腳雲吞麵 Chicken feet Wanton Mee" probably wasn't a good choice this morning, slightly too salty and the chicken feet wasn't too tasty although it was well braised. Nevertheless, the other hawker food choices looks good and this kopitiam is packed in a wet Monday morning!
