Thoughts: This is “like” one of those Japanese Yakitori "bar" with Japanese beer! except its in KL's Taman Desa; located in a shop lot. No air-conditioning here, but OK in away as it opens 6pm onwards. Don't be mistaken with the “Japanese BBQ” which is located amongts other Grilled/BBQ stalls somewhere in the alleyway behind/beside the shop lots. I think somehow both have the similar name "大衆秘酒場"!
The Yakitori menu comes with all kinds of internal organs of pig and chicken, there is another list for vegetables and seafood. (all in around 3 dozen choices of chicken, pork, seafood, lamb, vege but cannot find beef in the yakitori menu). Also in the menu are ご飯 Gohan/rice dishes and our local tiger, guiness, calsberg plus Japanese Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo; and SAKE!
I would not hesitate to come here again, good and quick service and wonderful yakitori!
At 6pm weekdays, I was the 1st customer and service was quick. Parking wasn't difficult, could still find free after 5pm DBKL parking along Jalan Desa Bakti/Jalan Desa Jaya (surrounding the 2 rows of shop lots here) or you can park inside the Faber Towers compound's with paid parking.
But at Taman Desa, besides 大衆秘酒場 Maruhi Sakaba, there are at least another 3/4 other Grilled "eatery" located at the alley roads of the shops lots (all with outdoor seatings). So, if you need some grilled 吃爽, a lot to choose from at Taman Desa.
