Food Thoughts: It was lunch at "Padang on Wheels" which is not a food truck but a restaurant at Section 13 Shah Alam. "Padang on Wheels" originally offers Padang cuisine from a food truck where they have it at 4 locations in Klang Valley, one of which is at USJ. The food truck in USJ is not longer in business.
Padang cuisine is Indonesian origin where 巴东料理 Padang food or Minang food is the cuisine of the Minangkabau people of 西苏门答腊 West Sumatra, Indonesia. Known across Indonesia as Masakan Padang (Padang cuisine, in English usually the simpler Padang food) after the city of Padang which is the capital city of West Sumatra.
Interesting that many dishes has the name "Berlado" or "Belado" which likely means Chili. For example, 印尼臭豆 Jering(Djenkol) Berlado which is an acquired taste due to its strong smell (bitterness) but the bean is regarded as a delicacy in Indonesia which even can be consumed raw. I think it has some similarity to the Petai here.
The choices at this restaurant seems to also focus on beef and cow innards (both dry version as well as berlado/chili or curry versions), likely not the cup of tea for everyone but I think it is still on bad.
Worth mentioning is the bottled drink of sweetened Jasmine Tea from an Indonesia bottling company called Sosro which is called "TehBotol" owned by the "Sosrodjojo family". Operated since 1940, from its humble beginning as a the family venture into "PT SINAR SOSRO" bottling company, Sosro is the first bottling company in Indonesia that produces bottled tea beverage and prides itself as the world's 1st bottling company who offers "Tea" in a bottle.
