Food Thoughts: If you fancy Dim Sum for breakfast or lunch and you happen to be in Shah Alam, this is likely a good destination. Furthermore, it can be a "1 Malaysia" gathering for Dim Sum at Restoran Queen as it is Halal. One of the restaurant owner is a Muslim Malay lady who speaks excellent Cantonese!
"Most" of the Dim Sum tasted were quite good, on par if not better than the non-halal Dim Sum Restaurants in Klang Valley, I think; at least for that price range of $5 - $8.50++. The Chef is Mr Kenny who previously worked in Eden Restaurant in KLIA for many years. Since the closing of Eden at KLIA, Chef Kenny and his colleagues decided to venture into food truck business company serving premium food, catering, and now into Halal Dim Sum Restaurant business. The restaurant location at Shah Alam Seksyen 15 started its operations since Q4 2017.
The ever polite and well spoken lady owner of the restaurant explains about her and her partners business venture, and even offered a free taste testing of one of their new product "Tuna burger" which is likely a healthier burger since it is fish and really it the bite and taste of the burger itself feels more like chicken and beef! The restaurant will be offering the "Tuna burger" soon via Groupo/Fave and I believe if the price is right, it should be a welcoming burger choice for health conscious burger lovers.
Besides Dim Sum and the upcoming "Tuna burger", the restaurant also offers noodles and rice options, as well as dishes, all can be found in their colorful menu.
I believe "The Queen" restaurant in Shah Alam is part of QFC (Queen and the Fat Chef) Kitchen Sdn Bhd which is made up of a passionate community team of "good food lovers" who has over 20 years of experience in the food industry.
