Food Thoughts: Pleasant surprise to find a Malay Restaurant which has quite a good spread of breakfast choices near to USJ. Restoran Akasia is at a corner shop right at the entrance to UEP Industrial Park (where Proton COE is located further down the road). From the main trunk road of Persiaran Tujuan (near USJ 12), turn into Persiaran Setia where SMK USJ 12 is located, just another 0.5km brings you to UEP Industrial Park, at the 3rd traffic light from Persiaran Tujuan, to the left is UEP Industrial Park.
The Restaurant is rather unassuming as it is hidden behind bamboo curtains and bushes but inside the restaurant packs a crowd of malays, indians, and chinese. Its only a single corner shop lot with sections for malay kuih (dessert), lontong, nasi lemak, indian roti, morning choices of dishes (nasi campur), and noodles.
My choice for breakfast was the freshly packed nasi lemak with the rice is warm when opening the packet, added pekedil and sunny-side egg. I like it, should be coming back to try other things.
