Last dine-in at Buranchi was more than 16 months ago, and it does look like the Japanese cafe now offers a brand new menu of breakfast and lunch choices. One of favorite dependable food destination for office workers and residents of Puchong; Buranchi, the 日式西式咖啡館 Japanese-Western cafe located in Bandar Puteri Puchong, was officially opened in November 2018 and in still marking as a popular F&B spot in Puching, in its 8th year operation in Bandar Puteri.
Today's 日西式融合食譜 Japanese-Western fusion recipe of 南蠻雞佐 Nanban Chicken, accordingly to Japanese culinary history; was originated in the 1950s in 宮崎縣Miyazaki Prefecture on日本南部 Japan's southern island of 九州島 Kyushu. It was first created as 廚師們為員工烹製的 a staff meal by chefs at the 倫敦餐廳 Restaurant London in 延岡市 Nobeoka City, combining 薄薄麵糊的炸雞浸泡在酸甜醋汁中 lightly battered fried chicken soaked in a sweet-and-sour vinegar glaze with 配上濃鬱的塔塔醬 a rich tartar sauce. The term "南蠻 Nanban" translates to "南方野蠻人 Southern barbarian". Historically, this was used to describe 16th-century 來到日本的歐洲商人 European traders (例如葡萄牙人 like the Portuguese) who arrived in Japan during the Warring States period. These traders introduced escabeche, 一種用醋醃製後油炸的魚料理 a fried fish dish marinated in vinegar. Japanese chefs later adapted this concept into nanbanzuke (marinated fried food), which 最初也以魚為主要食材 originally featured fish. In the mid-1950s, chefs in Miyazaki applied this same sweet-vinegar 烹飪概念運用到雞肉 concept to chicken, ultimately creating the beloved modern dish topped with 濃鬱的塔塔醬 creamy tartar sauce.Food today: 7.5 / 10 👍👍👍😋😋
