Besides the common Coffee like link in the menu of many Cafes around town, "8 oz." offers the interesting "藍眼咖啡 Blue Eye Coffee" as well as this morning's "紅眼咖啡 Red Eye Coffee"!
Red eye Coffee is said to be a concoction made by adding 一杯濃縮咖啡 a shot of espresso to a cup of 標準滴漏咖啡 standard drip coffee. The drink is believed to have earned its evocative name from 隔夜 overnight “紅眼航班 red-eye flights,” and has since grown in popularity among those needing a stronger caffeine kick ie the stronger than your everyday drip brew.
