In French, it is called the Fête nationale française (French: ; "French National Celebration"); legally it is known as le 14 juillet (French: "the 14th of July"). The Annual festival day was reared to Commemorate the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, and the unity of the French people at the Fête de la Fédération on 14 July 1790. Celebrations are held throughout France with 遊行 Military Parades, 煙火 Fireworks, 音樂會 Concerts and 舞會 Balls. In fact, the Military Parade is one that has been reported as "the oldest and largest military parade in Europe; which is annually held on 14 July on the Champs-Élysées in Paris in front of the President of France, along with other French officials and foreign guests.

The interesting 法國素菜料理 French vegetarian dish of "法國道普羅旺斯家鄉菜 Ratatouille" was popularized by 美國皮克斯動畫工作室 American Pixar Animation Studio which released the Movie called "料理鼠王 Ratatouille" in 2017. The Movie "料理鼠王 Ratatouille" was a study in extremes. While the story involved the natural if unlikely contrast between Remy's rodent (a Rat) upbringing and his sophisticated human desires and dreams to become a Chef at Auguste Gusteau's (Garrett) restaurant, with movie set mostly in 巴黎 Paris.
