Thoughts: There is one "US Pizza" for a few years now, the franchise have another branch now in USJ Taipan. "US Pizza" began in the early 1990s with Mr Donald Duncan who spent some time working in a pizza restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. After spending 5 years in the business, Mr Duncan developed his own recipe of dough, and tomato sauce, also known as the “Duncan Sauce”. Mr Duncan then opened the first outlet in Malaysia in 1997, and named the outlet to US PIZZA, to pay homage to his food origins. (info from its US Website). Pizza business is a big business in USA, and Pizza Giants like Domino's and Pizza Hut where these 2 Pizza Chains maybe takes up at least 35% to 40% of the nearly $46 billion in revenue in the Pizza business. And Pepperoni is also by far the most popular pizza topping in the United States, a common choice in American Pizza companies big or small. In Malaysia, the annual pizza business was around rm$1 billion Ringgit (or US$250 million) in 2018 and both Domino's and Pizza Hut tops the list of Pizza chain in this country.
