Thoughts: The new Café opened early March this year; its called the "Golden Seed" (Coffee X Croissant). From the entrance to the interior, "Golden Seed" is with a minimalist small coffee shop design, with mostly low table and chairs for a quiet cuppa with gourmet looking pastries.

Today's breakfast is an excellent rm$12 "拿鐵 Latte" and a savory rm$10 "可頌馬芬配蛋黃醬 Egg Mayo Cruffin"; both are excellent in presentation and taste. Interesting that A 可頌馬芬 Cruffin is a hybrid of a 可頌 (羊角麵包) croissant and a 馬芬 (鬆餅) muffin. The Cruffin is usually filled with a variety of 奶油 Creams, 果醬 Jams, 奶油糕點 Crème pâtissières or 凝乳 curds. Golden Seed's version of the Curffin is topped with sweet and savory Egg Mayonnaise! According to Wikipedia, the first known Cruffin was created by Kate Reid of Lune Croissanterie in 墨爾本 Melbourne, 澳大利亞 Australia in 2013. The Cruffin was later popularized and trademarked by Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, from 舊金山 San Francisco. Since then, there have been multiple variations of the 可頌馬芬 Cruffin found all over the world.
Looking forward for another quite morning breakfast to sample Golden Seed's best seller "Ham and Cheese Croisaant" among 11 other delicious looking Croissants and Danish breads with a twist!
