Thoughts: This is the 3rd visit to SS16 Aeon Mall's J-Kissa, one of very few Authentic Japanese style Café in Klang Valley. Owned and run by Japanese Owner-Chef providing not just tasty food but excellent hospitality.

The "北海道奶油燉肉 Hokkaido Cream Stew" was rm$18 for take-away lunch last year. Today's is again having the Cream Stew for lunch, at increased price of rm$20 but still worth every penny. The 北海道奶油炖菜 Hokkaido Cream Stew is one of the Chef's specialty; this 洋食 Yoshoku has a mix of 雞肉塊 chicken and assorted vegetables (荷包豆 poached beans, 土豆 potato, 玉米 corn, and maybe 洋蔥 onions), cooked in a smooth white home-made roux. The soup is served with assorted Japanese breads which can be refilled. The price up of rm$2 is perfectly ok because the meal now also comes with home-made 土豆沙拉 potato salad plus a 熱烤茶 Hot Hojicha drink.
The "日式奶油燉菜 Japanese style Cream Stew クリームシチュー " also known as "ホワイトシチュー White Stew"; it is a popular soup in Japan especially on a chilly, winter evenings. The Cream Stew “a Japanese adaptation of a western dish" (called 洋食 Yoshoku) which maybe started to appear after WWII. The recipe became so popular that Just like boxed curry, you can find Cream Stew Mix at Japanese grocery stores and convenient stores.
For all Main course, customer can have either Hot or Cold Black coffee with a rm$3 Add-on.
Today's lunch also sample another J-Kissa's main course item which is the rm$20 "銀座咖哩飯 Ginza Curry Rice". Typical slightly sweet but thick Japanese style curry gravy with chicken meat, customer can choose steamed rice of 3 sizes (same price). Instead of boiled egg, the curry rice meal comes with 溫泉蛋 poached egg along with 自製大蒜辣椒醬 home-made garlic chili sauce plus 土豆沙拉 potato salad.
After 3:30pm, the Café also offers "(小吃) おやつ Oyatsu Set" with several choices of 名古屋吐司 Nagoya Toast, 冰淇淋 Ice Cream, plus either Coffee or Tea.
Today is also where COVID-19 restrictions are broadly lifted. This includes face masks will no longer be mandatory outdoors but wearing of masks is still required indoors, including in shopping malls and on public transportation.
