Thoughts: This corner shop lot kopitiam "福泰海鲜饭店 Restoran Hock Thai", is deep inside the residential areas of SS2, maybe about 600m+ from "3 Damansara/Tropicana City Mall". It is at the same row of shop lots as 槟州美食店 Peng Chou Cafe where 2 days ago had Penang Hokkien Mee there. Parking is already very challenging at 8:30am today despite only 2 shops opened for breakfast which is Peng Chou with Economy beehoon Mee and the hawker stalls at Restoran Hock Thai.
福泰海鲜饭店 Restoran Hock Thai offers 4 hawker stalls where for breakfast; with the choices of 瓦煲老鼠粉和伊面 Claypot Rat Noodle/Yee Mee, 板面 Pan Mee, 砂捞越面 Sarawak Noodles, 猪肠粉酿豆腐 Yong Tao Foo. There are also a 小炒 Xiao Chao and 烧蜡 Roasted stall which maybe only available from lunch time onwards. 大炒 Dai Chao starts at 6pm in the evening.
The Stall "Aubrey's Sarawak Kolo Mee" offers Kolo Mee, Tomato Mee and Sarawak Laksa. For breakfast, it was Sarawak Kolo Mee today, no surprises and generally satisfied. The noodles were soft and a comes with generous amount on the plate with sprinkles of green onions, minced pork meat and several thin slices of Charsiew. Sauce was to my liking as it wasn't overly salty.
This kopitiam is one to come back again maybe for the Sarawak Laksa/Tomato Mee as well as the Pan Mee! But, Restoran Hock Thai is also very near to another popular eatery called "Toast and Roast" which is just behind "3 Damansara", and has been in my "PJ to eat list" for a long time where the restaurant has been constantly being referred to as one of the best places for Charsiew on Hakka noodles!
