Thoughts: Restoran Haslinda is one of several mixed rice Malay restaurants in Block B of Phileo Damansara, offering breakfast and lunch. For lunch is mixed rice with more than 20 dishes (meat and vegetables) plus I think some fried beehoon and mee goreng from the morning session.
On my plate was all vegetarian (although the meat dishes really look more appetizing); for rm$5.50, its 马来式炒天贝豆腐片 Tempe w/Tofu pok, 辣椒蛋 Chili Egg & 炸薯饼 Perkedil 和 黄咖喱 Yellow Curry and 辣三巴酱 Spicy Sambal on white rice. The yellow curry and sambal were very nice, overall satisfied lunch! And no wonder the restaurant was packed at lunch time today.
Right at at the back near the counter where customers pay for their plates before dining, the restaurant offers another kiosk that offers "Nasi Berlauk Kak Chik" and a lot of customers queue up for this one either take-away or dine-in. This is definitely another possible lunch choice in the next visit to this Malay restaurant. Based on the vegetrian dish choices today, I would think that the meat dishes should be as good if not better, and that's another reason for a second visit.
