Thoughts: There used to be a "Chan Yau Restaurant" which is a Corner Shop Lot also selling BBQ Chicken/Duck on the same road Jalan 25/63 opposite the "Sri Muda Dry/Wet Market" but now permanently closed. However, inside the Wet Market opens a new Chan Yau since 17.June.2017, not sure if it is the same. Nevertheless, it is Charcoal BBQ chicken, duck, roasted pork and it comes with either rice or Wan Ton Mee.
The smell of the drains nearby is enough to deter most people not wanting to walk into the market but the food is definitely not bad here. The Market is quite run down and sigh for sore eyes, the Chinese hawker stall is one or two among the many other Malay and Indian hawker stalls in the Market. Come before 12 noon or in the morning if you want BBQ Pork and Cha Siew, should go well with the Wan Ton Mee! I did like the rice, it wasn't overly oily and has that fragrance of garlicky and gingerly taste to it.
Next to the 雞飯 Chicken Rice stall is a coffee/tea/drinks kiosk and the Chinese Teh Tarik also not bad!
