Thoughts: THE Exchange 106, set to be the tallest building skyscraper under construction in the upcoming financial district Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Jalan Imbi, for the past years during this construction period; driving into Imbi area has been confusing and the same today.
Shops around Jalan Khoo Teik Ee seems the same old shops but I think its now a one way traffic and getting into shops around Jalan Horley is puzzling. Parking is also impossible if not on the road shoulders possible perhaps only early in the morning! And so, landed at "747 饭店 Mixed Rice Store" which sits as a corner shop lot at the junction of Jalan Khoo Teik ee and the trunk road of Jalam imbi. This shop claims to open for 24 hours where there is a Noodle stall in the morning (was told it operates 24 hours as well), Lunch & Dinner will have Economy mixed rice and at night, maybe some sort of Malacca Satay at night!
My bowl of Taipu (Da Bu mian) was quite salty although noodles itself was ok but both charsiew and roasted pork wasn't fresh (likely from the day before); the stall is cooking some new charsiew and maybe try to sell the leftover foods from the previous day. Definitely wrong choice of breakfast destination in KL today!
