Thoughts: La Cocina started in a shop lot in USJ9, and around 9 or 10 years ago some time in 2014/2015, it moved from USJ9 to a corner shop lot along USJ10/1E (same row as Berry Pastry & Cake House OR opposite "The Coffee Beans & Tea Leaf") taking up ground and the upper floor of the shop lot. AND just few days ago on June 4, the Spanish+Indian Restaurant moved to USJ 10/1J above AFFIN Bank and DAORAE Korean BBQ at the TOP Floor of the Private TAIPAN Business Center, OR just opposite USJ10 McDonalds. It also changed its name to "La Cocina Sky View".

The Restaurant at the TOP floor can be reach via 2 LIFTs from the ground floor or stair case. At the new location, there wasn't too much renovation, looks like decoration and interior from the previous tenant, the top floor offers spacious dining area with indoor tables as well as outdoor tables overlooking USJ10. There is also a Wine Cellar as it is a Gastropub with Food plus Wine, Beer (bottle and draft), Cocktails, and Liquor.
Daily Lunch sets (also available on weekends) are from 11am to 3pm. AND today's lunch is their new rm$12.90 "塔哩印度料理套餐 Thali Set" which comes with:

印度小占米 Plain Ponni Rice is a variety of rice developed by 泰米爾納德邦農業大學 Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in 1986! and is still 廣泛種植 widely cultivated in 泰米爾納德邦 Tamil Nadu (South India), a state famous for its 寺廟 temples, 節慶 festivals, and 藝術慶典 celebration of the arts. The 高韋里河 Kaveri River is one of the major Indian rivers flowing through the states of 卡納塔卡邦 Karnataka and 泰米爾納德邦 Tamil Nadu. Since the 高韋里河 Kaveri River (Cauvery River) is also called "Ponni" in 泰米爾文學 Tamil literature (and the word "Ponni" means "小溪的意思 Stream"). Therefore, the rice could have been named after the Kaveri River. The rice is mostly cultivated along the banks of the Kaveri in the cities along the river like Ariyalur, Trichy, Madurai and its mouth. 印度小占米 Ponni rice is short and small in shape, smaller than ordinary rice and it is cultivated as a 健康米 healthy rice with 低糖含量 low sugar content. 印度小占米 Ponni rice is a 小溪旁的稻米 rice grown by the stream. It absorbs a lot of water when cooking. One cup of rice must be cooked with 3 cups of water. After cooking, the rice grains swell and the amount of rice is beyond imagination. A little rice can cook a lot of rice! With a 低升糖指數 low GI (Glycemic Index) with a GI=50 according to some repots; the Ponni rice is said to be also 降低膽固醇 low in Cholesterol, 低糖 low in Sugar, 高钙 High in Calcium and 富含膳食纖維 dietary Fiber and some research indicates that the Ponni Rice when consumed moderately is said to be suitable for 適合糖尿病患者 Diabetic patients.印度小占米 Plain Ponni Rice印度薄餅 Papadam甜點 Dessert (優格 Yoghurt)
La Cocina offers the usual Western (many Spanish dishes) of 麵食 Pastas, 素食和肉類菜餚 Vegetarian and Meat dishes, 塔帕斯(西班牙小吃) Tapas Combos, 西班牙鐵鍋飯 Paella and 西班牙鐵鍋套餐 Paella sets (for 2 or family), Steaks (牛排 Beef, 羊排 Lamb, 雞排 Chicken chop, 烤鮭魚 Salmon etc), 沙拉和湯 Salads & Soups, and 甜點 Desserts, AND the new menu is their Western set Lunch at rm$16.90 of 雞排 Chicken Chop, 魚排 Fish Fillet, and 大利麵 Pasta AS WELL as their 素食塔利套餐 vegetarian Thali Set at rm$12.90! The Restaurant Manager revealed that La Cocina also intends to introduce more Indian Cuisines on top of the already quite extensive Western and Spanish dishes.
