Thoughts: PJ Seksyen 17 (used to be referred to as 快樂花園 "Happy Garden", is an old neighborhood that has been around since the 1970s (or earlier), basically a dense residential area AND several hidden gems for food lovers. AND one of the many good food destination here is definitely in Seksyen 17's "Happy Mansion". Parking here is "FREE" and although sometimes a little challenging to find a parking spot BUT usually is possible to find one in one of the 3 Apartment Blocks inside Happy Mansion.
Today's dinner choice is at "半刻 Ban Ke Cafe" which is located at the Ground Floor of Block B Apartment (found parking at Block C)! I think this could be the only Eatery in Happy Mansion that offers 2 floors of dining space.
The Menu choices are Western and Asian Fusion including 魚/鮭魚/雞排 Fish/Salmon/Chicken chop, 豬腸粉 Chee Cheong Fun, 全天早餐 All-day Big Breakfast, 義大利麵 Pasta, 三明治 Sandwich, limited 沙拉 Salad choices, and Several choices of 蓋飯 Rice bowls from rm$16 to rm$30. AND for beverages will be 咖啡 Coffee, 茶 Tea, 抹茶 Matcha, 巧克力 Chocolate, 蘇打水 Soda and 無酒精雞尾酒 Mocktails from rm$8 to rm$17.
Today's dinner starts with Americano brewed with a Single Origin Nutty flavor Coffee bean from Brazil/Colombia called "Coco Crush" at rm$10; then Dinner is a rm$26 "香煎雞排 Pan Seared Chicken Chop" that comes with a good size juicy Pan Seared Chicken Breast (I think) topped with herbs, and instead of 馬鈴薯泥 Mash Potato, its replaced with more Lettuce and a little bit of 櫻桃西紅柿 Cherry Tomatoes. Choice of sauce for the Chicken chop is either 黑胡椒 Black pepper or 蘑菇醬 Mushroom.
