In Taipan USJ10 and before 2020, most Subang-ians relish the place as then, it's the only local restaurant that open 24 hours in the USJ/Taipan area besides McDonalds BUT that was before the Pandemic! The 嘛嘛檔 Mamak has been in the Taipan location for as long as I can remember, maybe before year 2000. The shop is popular Makan place for ALL Malaysians who come here for Morning Mamak 印度煎餅 Roti Canai varieties; also 烤馕 Naan and 印度烤雞 Tandoori Chicken, AND of course most popular is their 扁擔飯 Nasi Kandar.
Breakfast today a slide of "印度薄煎餅 Chapati", freshly made made-to-order to go with vegetables choices of 炒白菜 fried cabbage, 煮雞蛋 a boiled egg, and some 炸印度小苦瓜 Kakarakaya fry (Bitter melon fry). "印度炒白菜 Indian fried cabbage" recipe uses Indian Spices to create a pleasant simple but fragrant vegetable side dish while the "炸印度小苦瓜 Kakarakaya fry (Bitter gourd/melon fry)" is a simple Indian style vegetarian stir fry that also uses Indian spice powders and maybe besan that are common ingredients in the Indian cuisine. Both the vegetable dishes are favorite vegetable side dish to go with Rice and many people also have it with Roti Naan AND maybe even Chapati!
