Thoughts: 萬香餅家 Ban Heang biscuits were the brainchild of 饒狄萬先生 Mr. Leow Tit Ban who started this company in 1997. Selling the renowned 淡汶餅 Tambun biscuits, it is available in various local flavors. Ban Heang became the first native product shop in Penang to develop 不同口味淡汶餅的餅家 a variety of flavors for Tambun biscuits, introducing 橙味 Orange, 香草味 Pandan, 咖啡味 Coffee, and 蝦米味 shrimp flavors. After honing his skills in an external Retail environment for a few years; in 2009, Mr. Leow Tit Ban decided that the time was ripe and thus resigned from his senior managerial position, utilizing the accumulated five years of experience to propel 萬香 Ban Heang forward. In 2010, Ban Heang relocated its business from Melaka Street to Macalister Road at Georgetown. In 2020, Ban Heang even embarked on its first cross-industry collaboration with the globally renowned brand, Starbucks.
