Thoughts: Back in 2013, in 新竹 Hsinchu, 台灣 Taiwan, the first 丼丼咖啡 Wells Cafe was born. 3 years later, under the leadership and vision of 陳玺文 Mr Chin Xi Wen, known to many as Happy, 丼丼咖啡 Wells Cafe Penang, a cafe/micro-roastery with a focus on every detail of roasting, brewing, and sustainable green beans sourcing was introduced in Penang. 丼丼咖啡 Wells Cafe specialize in light roasting with two distinctive styles; 傳統日式 Traditional Japanese and 現代北歐 Modern Nordic. Traditional Japanese roasting style brings out more sweetness and body while Modern Nordic roasting style brings out more aroma and interesting flavor notes such as floral and fruity. Most of their green beans are sourced using direct trade method from countries such as 衣索比亞 Ethiopia, 瓜地馬拉 Guatemala and 哥斯大黎加 Costa Rice. We are also constantly working closely with farmers to develop different processing methods in the effort of bringing the green beans to a whole new level of quality.

丼丼咖啡 Wells Cafe opens everyday from 9am to 6pm inside Penang Georgetown's 興公司 Hin Bus Depot. You can enter from Jalan Timah where private parking is possible for rm$2/rm$3 per hour. AND Wells Cafe is one of several Coffee/Cafe Spots inside Hin Bus Depot! For Drip Pour coffee, there are at least 12 coffee beans to choose from and mine today is a rm$20 Japanese Drip Pour with 哥斯大黎加塔拉祖·卡內·莫札特 Costa Rica Tarrazu Canet Mozart beans.
