The 1st Flagship restaurant of Wagyu More in Malaysia opened on 31.August 2018 while the one visited today at Sunway Pyramids opened its doors to customer on 23.November 2019. As an All-You-Can-Eat 日本火鍋餐廳 Japanese Shabu-Shabu restaurant, "牛摩 Wagyu More" serves an assortment of decent 肉類 meats options (including beef, pork, chicken, fish, and prawns), 蔬菜 vegetables, 肉丸 meatballs, 炒飯 fried rice, 小吃 small bites (炸饅頭 fried buns, nuggets, small breads, mini sausages, fried popiah etc), 飲料 drinks, 冰淇淋 Ice Cream, and 甜點 desserts. AND the 炸饅頭 fried buns were really nice which are very good for starter or something for in-between the meats and vegetables! The 自助餐套餐 Standard Buffet price starts at rm$43.80 (without the beef but with other meats) to the Premium all-you-can eat buffet including the A5級日本和牛 A5 Japanese Wagyu at rm$392.80! The birthday deal of "Buy-3-Free-1" has been around for some time now and is still available.
For the Shabu-Shabu soup base, customer can pick 2 choices from the 8 on the menu (today's pick was 豬骨 Pork bone and 番茄 Tomato). The broth sampled were not too strong in the beginning (which is to my liking) but as meat and vegetables goes in, it slowly build up stronger taste! There are a selection of I think 10+ 調味品 Condiments as dipping sauce for the Shabu-Shabu meat. Fresh Food items seemed to be replenish quickly despite a full house at lunch time today.
Shabu-shabu (in Japanese is "しゃぶしゃぶ") is a Japanese "鍋物火鍋 Nabemono hotpot dish" of 切成薄片的肉 thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces. The term is Shabu-Shabu is said to have derived from the sound "swish swish", emitted when the ingredients are stirred in the cooking pot. The food is cooked piece by piece by the diner at the table. Shabu-shabu is generally more savory and less sweet than sukiyaki. The Japanese Shabu-shabu was invented in Japan in the 1950's with the opening of the restaurant 末廣 Suehiro in 大阪 Osaka, where the name was also invented. Food today: 8 / 10 👍👍👍😋😋😋
