Thoughts: 老壇酸菜魚 Laotan Suancai Fish is a 經典川菜 classic Sichuan dish originating from 重慶 Chongqing, 中國 China, and is popular worldwide for its unique flavor, characterized by its 酸爽開胃  tangy and refreshing taste, 麻辣鮮香 spicy and savory aroma, and 魚肉細膩 delicate texture of the fish. First visit here was last month May 3.2026 to sample the 店鋪招牌餃子 shops signature dumplings and 老北京炸醬麵 Old Beijing Zhajiangmian. That rm$10 Beijing Noodles was out of stock today, settled for a rm$8 "上海蔥油麵 Shanghai Scallion Oil Noodles". 上海蔥油麵 Shanghai Scallion Oil Noodles (known as 葱油拌面 Cōng Yóu Bàn Miàn) is a classic, 經簡約的中式家常菜典 minimalist Chinese comfort food originating from 上海 Shanghai that features 煮熟的小麥麵 boiled wheat noodles tossed in a deeply aromatic, sweet-and-savory 蔥油醬汁 green onion-infused glaze. It relies on the culinary concept of "少即是多 less is more," transforming a few basic pantry staples into a rich, umami-packed meal.

Main meal is a rm$29.80 "酸菜魚 Sauerkraut Fish",  a dish originated in 中國重慶 Chongqing, China.
