Thoughts: 名創優品樂園(名创优品) MINISO is a Chinese-based, globally operating variety retailer, founded in 2013 by entrepreneur 葉國富 Ye Guofu (also known as Jack Ye). Although the brand initially adopted a "Japanese designer" aesthetic and co-founder (Junya Miyake), it is headquartered in Guangzhou, China, and originated from a garage in the city. 

名創優品 MINOSO's aim is to create a brand offering high-quality, well-designed, and affordable household products. The company focuses on "基於興趣的消費 interest-based consumption" offering a variety of 家居用品 household goods, 化妝品 cosmetics, and 零食 snacks, often through collaborations with global IP brands like 迪士尼 Disney, 漫威 Marvel, and 寶可夢 Pokémon. Under the Billionaire Jack Ye's, MINISO has expanded to over 6,600 stores globally. To-date, MINISO operates over 7,700 stores across 亞洲 Asia, 歐洲 Europe, 大洋洲 Oceania, 非洲 Africa, 北美洲 North America, and 南美洲 South America.  

名創優品樂園 MINISO LAND Soft Opening 14 February 2026 (3 days before the Chinese New Year) in 雙威金字塔購物中心 Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, While the "名創優品樂園 MINISO LAND" concept is new in Malaysia, MINISO has operated in Malaysia since around 2018, with significant themed stores opening in 2025, such as the One Piece theme store in July 2025. The Concept Store took over the former 唐吉訶德 Don Don Donki (ドン・キホーテ) location in 雙威金字塔購物中心 Sunway Pyramids. 

名創優品樂園 MINISO LAND has gained immense popularity by transforming 傳統零售模式轉變為沉浸式 traditional retail into an immersive, "快樂為中心 joy-focused" 的體驗 experience that functions more like a 粉絲主題樂園 theme park for fans than a standard store. As a premier concept under the "Super IP + Super Store" strategy, it combines high-traffic, luxury locations with over 80% of its inventory dedicated to licensed intellectual properties (IPs) from brands like 三麗鷗 Sanrio, 迪士尼 Disney, and 哈利波特 Harry Potter.
