アオリラーメン Aori Ramen rm$35 👍👍👍😋😋 7.5/10
Total bill: rm$35
Budget: MYR$40 - rm$60
Payment method: Cash or Credit Card
Cuisine: Japanese Ramen
Highlights: Private booths, Asahi beer
Parking: Private mall indoor parking
Thoughts: Aori Ramen, a Japanese-style Ramen shop but interesting opened by the famous Korean Big Bang Seungri. Whilst being a Korean-owned franchise, Aori Ramen in KL Pavilion which opened last year in June 2018, show case with an interior that is very Japanese, and comprising of visibly 2 types of seating concept; one type as individual booth-styled seating (similar to those of Ichiran Ramen) and another seating with small number of tatami-styled table seating areas for groups of maybe 4 and above.
Prices of Ramen are from rm$31 to rm$35 and 8 additional toppings can be ordered including BBQ Pork, Soft boiled egg, Onsen egg, Seaweed, some kind of Kimchi, Bamboo shoot, bean sprouts or chicken katsu with prices of rm$2 to rm$8. Also available are 10 types of sides. As for the ramen, one can choose between no spicy, basic, medium spicy, and spicy; also choice of customizable leak and garlic. As I chose the booth-styled seating, some one behind the curtain will take the order and the meal is also delivered the same. Above each booth, is a cabinet for keeping belongings.
Instead of the Aori Ramen Light or Miso Ramen; I am having the Aori Ramen at rm$35, it is just a little bit kick of spicyness only and comes with 2 slices of barbeque marinated pork, leek, dry seaweed, marinated bamboo shoots, half-an onsen egg.
