Thougnts : Dim Sum here after sending kids off to school. Almost at the end of breakfast, the owner served a cup of Moringa Tea and explained about its origin and benefits.
Was told it is a tea common to Indians! But this one is cultivated in Volcano lands in the Philippines. Google search does reveal this tree is popularly grown in Pakistan, India, and Nepals; and has been used for generations in Eastern countries to treat and prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, anemia, arthritis, liver disease, and respiratory, skin, and digestive disorders.
Some of its other reported benefits are:
. it enhances wound healing.
. it helps to protect the liver and cardiovascular system.
. it helps to reduce diabetes symptoms.
. it fights inflammation.
. it packs nutrients and fight free radicals.
The Tea is of mild flavor of slight earthy taste to it, not as strong as Japanese or Chinese tea leaves.
