The 1st "65c Ondo Bakery" came to Penang island in December 2020 as the 3rd branch at Burma Road in Georgetown (visited here on February 22.2024). AND today's visit is "65c Ondo's" 7th branch which opened just last week inside Food Bayana at Bayan Lepas (near to the Penang Airport)! With this, 2 more branches are due to open by end of June this year at Queensway Mall as well as in Ipoh! Certainly hope to see its expansion to Klang Valley!

Thoughts: Food Bayana, is one of the latest food court in Penang; spanning at least 23,000 square feet with 2 floors where the hawker stalls are mainly at the ground floor; but customer can choose to dine-in at the ground floor or upper floor. Looks like there are also robots as well as food-lift to deliver the food to the upper floor! There is also a "Pork free" section which is Muslim friendly. "Food Bayana" is said to be the first eco-friendly, automated, high-tech food hub in Malaysia.
