Instead of Black Coffee is Hojicha this afternoon; and not surprising or is it, that 焙茶 Hojicha was created in the 1920s in 日本京都 Kyoto, Japan, by 茶葉商 tea merchants seeking to 為了減少浪費 reduce waste by 將剩餘的茶梗, 嫩枝和低等級茶葉烘焙而成 roasting leftover stems, twigs, and lower-grade tea leaves. Often attributed to a 京都一位茶葉商發明的 Kyoto tea vendor, this roasting technique transformed these discarded materials into a popular, 香氣撲鼻且低咖啡因的茶 fragrant, and low-caffeine tea.
