The block is divided into three parts: 四川美食 Sichuan cuisine, 市井趕場 market fairs, and 傳統休閑老茶館 traditional leisure old teahouses. This place is also the location of 李劼人故居 Li Jieren's former residence “菱窠 Lingke” together forming a complete 劼人公園 Jieren Park. Entrance to the beautifully maintained home of 李劼人 is free. A 文學大師之 Master of Literature, 李劼人 Li Jieren was a Chinese 作家 writer and 翻譯家 translator (法國文學 French literature). A native of 成都人 Chengdu, his works are celebrated for their local flavor and realistic portrayal of Sichuan during the 晚清 late Qing period.

One of the many 四川省成都市的一道特色 traditional delicacies of Chengdu is this "老媽蹄花 Lao Ma Ti Hua", 屬於川菜系 (Sichuan cuizine); is made with 豬蹄為主要原料 pig's trotters as the main ingredient and is carefully cooked with other 其他調味品 seasonings such as 芸豆 kidney beans. The dish comes in a thick "snowy" white porky soup with a large Pig Leg like a "飛花 Flying Flower" where the Pork trotter is delicate, tender and "refreshing", fragrant but not greasy, the beans are like cotton yarn. "明紅蹄花" offers 3 variants of "老媽蹄花"
