Thoughts: The new 印尼特色菜 Indonesian Cuisine "Restoran Waroeng Indo" opened in USJ9's Subang Business Centre just last week. You can find the new eatery while driving along Persiaran Kemajuan when you come close to the 梳邦再也區警察局總部 Subang Jaya District Police Station Headquarters.

The owner started the Home-based Indonesian cuisine (in USJ12) during the Covid-19 but the easing of the Pandemic and soon most people starting to go back to work, the owner decide to stop her business for awhile. AND just last week, she decided to restart her passion for Indonesian cooking to serve the USJ neighborhood in a shop lot shared with "SUN INNS" hotel. 

Prices per meal is rm$10 to rm$12 with choices of Bakso, Soto, Nasi Ayam Penyet, Nasi Kuning Campur, Lontong, Pempek Lenjer, and Indonesian Salad called "貝塔維加多加多 Gado Gado Betawi". For lunch today is a rm$10 "加多加多(印尼沙拉) Gado Gado Betawi", an Indonesian style Salad with 生菜 Lettuce, 炒蔬菜 Sayur Rebus (Fried vegetables), 黃瓜 Cucumber, 米糕 Lontong, 炸豆腐塊 Fried Tofu cubes, 天貝 Tempeh, 豆芽 Bean Sprouts, 土豆 Potato, and topped with some crackers. On the side is a bowl of 花生醬 peanut sauce (similar to sauce for Satay). Not sure if Beverages for sale are available but customer can have free flow (free) water, or lemon tea. 

In 2018, "加多加多 Gado Gado" was promoted as one of five national dishes of Indonesia; the others are 印尼雞湯 Soto, 沙嗲 Sate, 炒飯 Nasi Goreng, and 仁當 Rendang. Surprisingly, the reason for the name "貝塔維加多加多 Gado Gado Betawi" is that it was believed that Gado Gado originated from the 印尼華僑 Chinese people who lived in Jakarta. And the Betawi people, Batavi, or Batavians (Orang Betawi in Indonesian, meaning "people of Batavia"), are an Austronesian ethnic group, and Batavians are mixed descent from different ethnic groups, such as the Javanese, Balinese, Sundanese, Buginese, Malay, Ambonese, Makassarese, European, Chinese, Arabic, and Indian, among others. Some writings claim that the Chinese people really enjoyed the Javanese pecel (爪哇沙拉 Javanese Salad), which is an Indonesian salad, and wanted to modify the dish to better accommodate their taste. As a result, the dish 加多加多 Gado Gado was created. This Indonesian style "Gado Gado Betawi" is usually serve with 生蔬菜 raw/ 稍微煮過的蔬菜 slightly boiled/ 燙過的蔬菜 blanched or 蒸蔬菜 steamed vegetables and 水煮蛋 hard-boiled eggs, 煮馬鈴薯 boiled potato, 炸豆腐 fried tofu and 豆豉 tempeh, and sliced 米糕 Lontong (compressed cylinder rice cake wrapped in a banana leaf), and served with a 花生醬 peanut sauce dressing.
