16.06.2017 Lunch
@ Kumar's Indian Restaurant Oasis Square Ara Damansara
R.03, Central Piazza, Oasis Square, 2, Jalan PJU 1A/7A, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor 47301
印度塔里料理和羊鸡肉蒜香印度烤饼 Thali set Garlic Naan w/Mutton & Chicken $24.90++
Thoughts: This restaurant will seize operation at Oasis Square in 2 weeks time from 1st July according to the printed notice on its front door! So, I have got to try the food here as even if I have teaching assignment at Hilti at Oasis Square will only likely be next year.
My lunch was a Thali set with mutton and chicken, it comes with 1 vege, 1 yogurt, a dessert, and few indian gravy/sauce, garlic naan, and papadam; as well as a drink (my case was ice lemon tea).
Thali is an Indian-style meal, made up of a selection of various dishes, served on a platter. The 'thali' style serving is also popular in Nepal and Bangladesh. It simply means a round platter used to serve food. The idea behind a Thali is to offer all the 6 different flavors of sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on one single plate. According to Indian food serving customs, a proper meal should be a perfect balance of all these 6 flavors.
