Thoughts: Before Tapao for the family, I had the 冬粉 (Glass Noodle), single serving was only $6 here at Weng Soon Jaya. Jeffrey, as usual always mumble about bad business the moment I start ordering! The 大炒 here, had good and bad times due to the "hard-headed restoran owner" who took over the place few months ago. The new owner made a lot of "stupid rules" like, if you called for food from the hawker stalls and not called a drink; he will ask the waiters to keep disturbing the seated customers for drinks. I was told you cannot sit on a chair in the shop waiting for your Tapao ! Many hawker stalls since then has left Weng Soon Jaya due to the many "new rules" they cannot tahan!
The glass noodle was a small plate, I ended up with 10 pieces of Satay! the Satay young man had taken over business from his father who Satay here for many years.
