Thoughts: After 507 days since the first lock-down March 18, 2020 last year; for Subang Jaya (under Petaling), it was a totol of 188 days of Lock-down days and counting on for MC3.0 lock-down.

MCO1.0 (March 18 - May 3, 2020) 47 days of Lock down

MCO2.0 (January 13 - March 4, 2021) 50 days of Lock down

MCO3.0 (May 7 - today, 2021)) 91 days of Lock-down

Despite food business can still continue operate all along since they are under the essential category but the no dine-in policy from MCO1.0 to MCO3.0 means less business even for the eateries. The case of less revenue and the high rental costs in USJ 10 Taipan area are likely the cause of the closure of some eateries in Taipan. But these eateries are also quickly replaced by another eatery or some other business!

Taipan USJ10 see at least the following eatery closure and opening of new ones:

Strawberry Fields (Western) now replaced by Bayou Diner Taipan (Cajun food)

The Malaysian Banana Leaf Restaurant now replace by Lils's Bird and the Big Bear (Western)

Many Woks Street Food Bar 多間吃檔 now replace by Family Food Market Taipan (Grocery)

Pappa Rich closed but the shop still vacant

Mr. J Kitchen Authentic Pork Noodles replaced by Rathnas's Express (Indian food)

Pizza Hut Taipan now replaced by Seasons Grocers (Grocery)

Homei Dim Sum closed but not sure what's happening to that shop lot)

Station 1 Cafe now replace by another Gastropub

Today's Dim Sum from USJ10's 錦選點心 Jin Xuan Dim Sum are as usual, generally above average and noticed prices of many Dim Sum plates have increased rm$0.50 per plate. There used to by rm$5.50 plate Dim Sums but now the minimum is rm$6 and above to rm$7.50 and beyond!
