Thoughts: It's not difficult to find, only 2 rows of shops at this part of Glenmarie. And Bawal Power Sempoi takes up 2 shop lots with a clean "white look" offering lots of seating areas both indoors and outdoors (no air-conditioning here); so prepare for a sweat if your rice is "flooded" with the spicy hot sambal.
There are 2 sections, one is where all the grilling is where variety of grilled fish and squid at the "Goreng and Bakar" section. Another smaller section serves the Nasi Berlauk offering "Ayam Goreng Cincang" and "Ikan Tongkol" from rm$6.50 - rm$11.50 (Set A to F), Opted for Set F where you get both the Fried Chicken (ayam goreng cincang) and Mackarel (ikan tongkok) plus half a boiled egg, poured with curry and the spicy sambal belacan. Really got a kick of the concoction, luckily there are self-service water and air sirap (I think is free).
Bawal Power Sempoi is very busy at time of visit on a weekday lunch hour, one thing that MBSA parking for 2 afternoons here were quite easy. Looking forward for perhaps the Grilled section's fish varieties and sotong in the next visit.
