The unassuming little Cafe along 牛干冬街 Lebuh Chulia (not that near to night time pub and hawker street area) but closer to the exit to 檳城路 Jalan Penang. The staff service are friendly and I can sit at this window table to enjoy the Penang street view with a tablet for many hours.
Interesting note that The breakfast combination of 咖啡 coffee, 半熟蛋 half-boiled eggs, and 咖椰吐司麵包 kaya toast bread in Malaysia is a result of 英國殖民影響 British colonial influence and 海南移民 Hainanese immigration. 海南移民 Hainanese immigrants worked on 英國船隻 British ships, in 家庭 households, and in 旅館工作 hotels during the 英國佔領 British occupation in 馬來亞 Malaya. The British introduced 西方飲食 Western cuisine like 白麵包 white bread, 水煮蛋 soft-boiled eggs, 紅茶 red tea, and 咖啡 coffee. During the 日治時期 Japanese Occupation, the British left behind abandoned shops, which the Hainanese immigrants used to set up their own eateries, bakeries, and coffee-roasting businesses. The Kaya Toast set with the white bread is now a staple breakfast in Malaysia and Singapore.
They are already quite a few Cafes along Lebuh Chulia alone, and many others all across the Georgetown Heritage zone area. There is clear evidence that there are so many new Cafes suddenly mushroomed in this part of Penang after the Covid Pandemic, and it is a good thing not just for tourist but also locals alike.
