Thoughts: Hidden along a row of renovated old shops on Mutri Street is "Mews Cafe", the Café offers western breakfast with Coffee AND was told different menu for lunch and dinner sessions. The Cafe is at the entrance to "Muntri Mews" which is a 4-Star Hotel with room prices of around rm$450 to rm$900! 
For early breakfast today is a rm$25 "煙燻鮭魚炒蛋 Smoked Salmon Scrambled Egg" that comes with lightly toasted sourdough breads, sautéed tomato, smoked salmon and scrambled egg plus a mediocre cup of rm$13 "卡布奇諾 Cappuccino". Food and Service is OK, but the homey heritage dining area decoration is quite and comfortable. Lunch and Dinner menu are local favourites like 沙嗲 Satay, 蝦菜煎餅 Cucur Udang, 咖哩麵 Curry Mee, and Nyonya Nasi Lemak BUT it is more comprehensive then this few items (see below). AND Netizens raved about the must-try "Helen's Curry Mee" offered by Mews Cafe.
Mews Cafe does offer a rather extensive choice of Malaysian street food delights:
  • Breakfast offerings includes 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 印度煎餅 Roti Prata, 羊角麵包 Croissant, 日出法式吐司 Sunrise French Toast, Bircher Mewsli, 吐司 Mews Toasties and 雞蛋料理選擇 Egg prepared in several variants.
  • Light Bites offerings includes 蝦菜煎餅 Cucur Udang, 沙嗲 Satay, 水果羅惹 Fruit Rojak,  娘惹小金杯 Deconstructed Kerabu Pie Tee and 綠碗 The Green Bowl.
  • Main Course menu includes 娘惹椰漿飯 Nyonya Nasi Lemak, 仁當牛肉 Beef Rendang, 叁巴魚 Ikan Sambal, 馬來烤雞 Ayam Percik, 咖哩麵  Helen’s Curry Mee, 爪哇麵 Mews Java Mee and many more.
  • Dessert menu offers tempting choices such as cakes of the day, 印度奶茶焦糖布丁 Chai Creme Brulee, 法式吐司 French Toast, 百香果慕斯 Mews Passionfruit Mousse, 焦糖香蕉餡餅 Caramelised Banana Fritters and 椰糖西米露 Sago Gula Melaka.
Mews Cafe is a small 半露天咖啡館 semi- al fresco cafe at Muntri Mews with outdoor tables and indoor tables in a 19th-century 馬厩改建的精品飯店 horse stables-turned-boutique hotel along George Town’s historic Muntri Street.
