Thoughts: My food hunt tonight brings me deep into the residential areas of PJ's Seksyen 17 where interestingly found 4 rows of shop lots with at least a dozen eateries of mixed malay, chinese, and western (cafe), also a pub that offers Gin and Wine called Mrs Jones Parlour which is incidentally above Tujoh Cafe. Parking at the shops seems challenging at time of visit which is around 7pm, but next to the rows of shops is a Park were ample parking available. (2-3 minutes walk from the shops) and most people just park illegally along road shoulders anyway.
Tujoh Cafe offers comfortable seating area with Wifi, its one of those older type of shops from the 60s and 70s where section of the shop is a 天井 (I think in english "an indoor patio") where its without roof/ceiling and can see whats on the second floor (which is Mrs Jones Parlous)! There is also a wall of old black and white nostalgic TV sets right at the back of the shop lot where its the more laid-back seating area of the Cafe with some comfortable Sofas. The Cafe is in its second year operation in Seksyen 17.
The Cafe offers mainly Italian recipes, cakes, and coffee. Also available in the menu are burgers, sandwiches, salad, nibbles, soup, brunch and main meaty meals (pork free).
My choice for dinner was "烟鸭配温泉蛋奶油意大利面 In-famous Carbonara" at rm$18 which is creamy pasta with bite-sized smoked duck meat and an onsen egg; slightly salty to my liking but still enjoyable meal. And a good ending with the hot Latte.
An "Italian dish" restaurant that probably don't hurt ones pocket that much!
