Thoughts: I believe this "must-eat" Taiwanese street food first set food in Malaysia at JB's Paradigm Mall and KLIA2 (somewhere in Dec 2017 and Feb 2018 respectively)! and planned for more outlets in both Penang and the Klang Valley. But if you are at USJ 21's Main Place, there is one now just openend today 25th. October 2018.
And so, on its opening day, the first 100 customer gets a free sandwich! and I got mine here today after queing for 30 minutes. With 周杰倫 Jay Chou as its spokesperson, it is no surprising to see life-sized poster of celebrity Jay Chou holding in his hand with his "favorite" sandwich!
The Taiwanese sandwich better known in Taiwan as either "手抓饼" or "葱抓饼", has become a popular street food in the past 15 years of so.
This Taiwanese sandwich really I didn't know its origin, I would have thought it is our "roti canai" with a twist, and of course it is operated as a Halal version here in Malaysia (I think as many of our Malay friends are also queing up for the free sandwich)!
