Food Thoughts: Longing to try the "文东啊嘛炒粿条面 " Bentong Amma Char Koay Teow here at Glenmarie Thong Kee. The Char Koay Teow is not offered by the rented stalls at the Kopitiam but rather directly cooked in the kitchen by the main Kopitiam tenant hailed from Bentong. As usual, perhaps a good plated of "Char Koay Teow" is oily, enough "Wok Hay", not too overcooked clams, with just enough TaoGay and green onions; nice, but prawns still with tails not peeled-off. Did wished it was fried with chinese sausage and/or pork lard. Overall, I liked it.
The overpriced "Cham" which the kopitiam calls it "Cham 1+1" at $2.50 per small cup overrated!
