Review: "天下第一麵" means the best Mee in the world, I believe it is now opened in Mid Valley, Jaya One, Publika, One Utama, Penang Gurney Drive, and the other day I saw one 'about to open' at KL Pavilion Elite.
There was a story behind "天下第一麵", the story was printed in the menu of the opening page. The name was bestowed by one of China's Emperor 乾隆 Qian Long visited a peasants noodle shop, immediately fall in love with the noodle. Emperor Qian Long even invited the chef to be the Palace Chef so that he can taste the noodle again without going out of the Palace. The story said that the recipe "天下第一面" is now what 有间面馆 Go Noodle House is famous for.
My order was dry pan mee, generally ok!
